Roasted Banana Chocolate Granola

Makes 1 big batch

Prep time: 10 min., Baking time: 30-40 min.


2 cups jumbo oats

1/2 cup chopped hazelnuts

1 roasted banana (+ squeeze lemon juice)

1 tbsp cashew butter 

1 tbsp almond butter

pinch salt

1 heaping tbsp raw cacao powder

1 tsp mesquite powder

small handful dates (4-5) 


1. Pre-heat oven to 150 degrees. Slice banana in half, drizzle with lemon juice and pop it into the oven for about 10 minutes.

2. Add the dates with a bit of water to a blender and mix to a date paste.

3. In a big mixing bowl add all the ingredients including the roasted banana (just mash it in), mix everything together and then spread out on a baking tray, pop into the oven for 30-40 min. Keep checking on it, so it doesn’t get burnt.
